Moving Forward

After the meeting with Oceana, FAHB has determined a number a steps that we are undertaking as a way forward.

Here’s what’s happening:
1. Establishing a community engineering group to engage with Oceana and Bioconservation to investigate technological opportunities. If you would like to be part of this group please email Helen Hays: hhays58@gmail.com
2. Broaden support through engaging with NGOs, local businesses, tourism enterprises and community groups. We are developing a survey to better understand the community and people’s perspectives on the factory. More information about this will follow soon, but if you represent an organisation and would like to get involved, please contact Kiara Worth: kiara.worth@gmail.com
3. Formally engage with the City of Cape Town through the authority of the HBRRA to determine opportunities.
4. Develop FAHB communications, including website www.smellsfishy.co.za to build support for the group. If you are a marketer, promoter or anybody that can help in this way, please email Ike Moriz: ike@ikemoriz.com
Specific information for each of these activities will follow soon. Thank you for all your support and we look forward to working with you to get rid of this smell!
